How we Protect your Property During the Works

Before starting any works in your building, we professionally protect all your property, including, lobby areas, lifts, floors, toilets, hallways and staircases as appropriate.
 
Floor Protection
Before commencing construction, the fit out area of the floor will be covered in heavy-duty plastic to ensure existing floor coverings are protected at all times. Joints will be sealed with continuous lengths of masking tape. On completion, all plastic will be taken up and removed from site. DY Constructions Australia provide both high tack protective film for carpeted areas and mid tack protective film for hard surfaces such as tile, marble, timber, and vinyl.
 
Temporary Containment Barrier
We supply & install temporary containment barrier using adjustable floor to ceiling aluminium posts and heavy duty commercial grade plastic to enclose the area that is being painted/fitted out to prevent dust penetration.
 
Lift Protection & Toilets Protection
We allow to protect the lifts, male, female, and disabled toilets during the works to avoid damage. We supply and install sheets of custom wood, or Honcho type Chief Board MD (Medium Duty) which provides impact protection for any construction site. The boards are lightweight, while offering protection from heavy foot traffic, ladders, trolley’s and dropping objects. Suitable for use on all internal projects.
 
Hoardings to Temporarily Divide Occupied Buildings
We supply and install floor to ceiling hoarding to separate construction zone from occupied section of office, comprising 64mm steel studs, lined on occupied office side with plasterboard. Include pass through temporary doors, with latch function door hardware, to comply with emergency exit regulations. We include for removal of hoarding on completion.
 
Progress Cleaning & Detailed Commercial Cleaning of All Areas
We allow for progress cleaning during the works to maintain a safe working environment during the project. We remove plastic floor protection and vacuum as necessary. We perform detailed commercial cleaning by cleaning the whole office area before handover, including cleaning of skirting, trims, glass, window sills etc. Final detailed commercial clean to all areas of the floor, including areas where work was not conducted.
